I’ve been waiting for adaptive optics to be used in microscopy for a few years now. It became a side interest when I read about the uses of formable mirrors in ground-based astronomy. It now looks like a few groups are using these mirrors in microscopes! One can imagine the multitude of applications of a live shapable optic!
